Successful test in port of Scheveningen
On May 29th Weco successfully tested the full-scale wave energy converter in the harbour of Scheveningen, gathering valuable data for upcoming tests at Deltares.

Successful harbourtest in Scheveningen
"Seeing the wave energy converter in action in the water is always something special," as mentioned by Luc Hogervorst. On the 29th of May we successfully tested our wave energy converter in the harbour of Scheveningen. Despite starting the day with rain, the sun eventually came out, making the test both productive and enjoyable.
The test was mainly focussed on testing the mechanical function of the full-scale model of the converter. We gathered a lot of valuable data, which will be crucial for our next round of testing. Our next focus is going to be a test in the Delta Flume at Deltares, testing the energy conversion and output.
